If only O man you believed !

This poem was originally published at Muslim Words.

If only O man you believed!

The kalmah He lovingly sent!

The La ilaaha illal-lahu,

Muhammadur Rasulullah!

He asks you to bow down to Him,

And He will make all bow down to you.

He asks nothing,

In return ‘rom you,

But promises a gazillion things,

Count to them ,

And remain counting,

The nth blessings will ‘ever end.

If only O man you believed!

The kalmah He lovingly sent!

The La ilaaha illal-lahu,

Muhammadur Rasoolullah!

He promises,

Of the four streams,

The four be your ultimate fond,

The milk, the wine,

The water and honey,

Quench thyself,

And Take some more,

And never will you get tired.

If only O man you believed!

The kalmah He lovingly sent!

The La ilaaha illal-lahu,

Muhammadur Rasulullah!

You know of the beauty queens,

And the bead-like men?

Who reside in the Jannah there?

But you O man have bargained t’is life,

Ignoring the breadths, lengths and heights.

He promises you then some more,

Of the Shade He will give to struggling ones,

In it will the 7 kinds,

Be one of those and don’t regret.

If only O man you believed!

The kalmah He lovingly sent!

The La ilaaha illal-lahu,

Muhammadur Rasulullah!

For the woods you cried ocean enough,

But not a tear was shed,

For His sake,

Unknown that He promised this world and the next.

Al-Wudud is He, Al-Rahman is He

Bestow He will , His forgiveness onto thee

If only O man you believed!

The kalmah He lovingly sent!

The La ilaaha illal-lahu,

Muhammadur Rasulullah!
